We are one church family, at two locations, in three languages using five very different approaches to reach East Bakersfield. At our Fairfax location we have services in English and Spanish. At our Crawford location we have Filipino, Spanish, and English.

Fairfax Assembly began in 1946 and was re-established in September 2000 with a new mission to improve the quality of life in an at risk part of our city. In August 2012 we acquired what has become our beautiful Crawford facility. Both The Assembly at Fairfax and The Assembly at Crawford are busy, vibrant, mission focused centers of worship and activity for our growing multi-ethnic family.

The focus is on our community. An extensive after school program for 50+ first through sixth graders, numerous children and youth programs, a large boxing program, frequent Love Reaching Festivals and community projects at both locations take the gospel outside normal boundaries and often outside our buildings.

Directed by five pastors and a Leadership Team drawn from all of our groups, we are learning what life together is all about. We often do combined International Services, That's when both our diversity and unity are on full display! Seeing people the way Jesus sees people is our goal.
